HAPPY NEW MARKETING YEAR!

by Kurt on January 1, 2013

Happy New Year everyone, and thank you for the support to my blog so far.

My 2013 new year resolution for this blog is to continue bringing challenging views on marketing, weekly. I will also strive to bring in more guest authors to get different perspectives on marketing topics (if you are interested, drop me an email on kurtfrenier@hotmail.com). So stay tuned! Please subscribe to my newsletter (on the left of my blog page). I crossed the 200 subscribers last year, and my aim is to get to 1000…one day.

According to Chinese astrology, the year 2013, beginning from February 10, 2013 and extending to January 30,2014 in the western calendar, can be called the Year of the Snake. As a fait-divers, the characteristics when it comes to business are as follows: a snake is efficient in whatever work is entrusted or assigned. The ideal snake is brimming with creative ideas that can be put to use professionally. The hard work that’s been put in will be rewarding in the form of financial perks & recognition. However, the snake also lacks concentration, gets bored easily, and  (too) quickly switches to sth else. This is one of the major reasons for disapproval of snakes at the workplace.

That in mind, I hope that you and your family, in 2013, will be able to …

… KEEP THE FOCUS on whatever is important to you.

… SPLURGE in creativity so it inspires those around you.

… BE SAFE so you don’t get cornered and bite.

I leave you with PiNK, and her appropriate up-beat song to celebrate the new year:

RAISE YOUR GLASS!

Thank you for reading this blog post. Hope to see you back on my blog during 2013!
