It’s ugly, boring, stupid, and the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen.
But guess what: as dumb as it may seem, it all goes in a heartbeat, and you’re a million dollars richer! In no more than a month.
The lessons:
1- Impossible is nothing
2- Be unique
3- Keep is simple (the proposition was “1 pixel = 1 dollar”)
4- Just try it (esp. when it doesn’t really cost anything)
5- There are enough fools that want exposure on the net (see the homepage: biggest pixels went to casinos & dating sites)
And more importantly … why did it work? Well, I guess because no one else did it and Alex Tew WAS FIRST!
