Because I’m on holiday, I will not bore you with a lot of text this time, but rather share one of my favorite, inspirational videos: JOHN CLEESE (of Fawtly Towers, one of my favorite TV series of all times) ON CREATIVITY. Absolutely worth watching!
The one big take-away in my opinion is how Cleese explains the need to ‘sit on’ a problem in order to find an original and creative solution. I have always found that to be true myself, when solving business problem, in managing the ad agency, or when I’m writing. “You need to learn how to live with the anxiety” dixit Cleese. “And you need time. Going too fast in the creative process just leads to the ordinary, to things that are obvious and that have been done before.” -AMEN!
