I wrote a blog post a while back on how to make sustainability work, by making it cool, attractive, sexy, relevant. If you haven’t read it, go here.
Just a few days ago, I saw the new RENAULT Z.E. (Zero Emission) tv commercial; a brilliant piece of advertising. In my opinion, it sets a new tone in the “green” communication field, it speaks to the imagination! No BS with beautiful images about the planet. Check it out.
The Renault Z.E. is a great piece of innovation, and a nice looking car, with a campaign that works *happy sigh*
Why does it work?
- It’s simple.
- It captures attention.
- It makes you think.
- It shifts your perception.
- It has talkvalue.
- It is is fun.
- It motivates.
- This TVC in particular has a great punch line : “You’ve already switched to electricity for many things, so why not for travelling”
Let’s have more of these to promote green in a new way!
